Sewing Update

I know that I've been absent for a while.  Mostly because there hasn't been any sewing going on around here for a while.  That doesn't mean that changes haven't been happening in my sewing area.  My space had been cut in half and I now just have this little corner to work in.  Once I get back to sewing I think I will make some things to make this area look a little nicer.

In the meantime...

This pile contains all of the pieces already cut out to make a butterfly blanket!  This is my next project and it's Simplicity 2935 if anyone else is interested in making it.  I had a lot of small pieces of fleece and this is a great way to use up those smaller scrap pieces!

Helping Girls in Haiti

(No, I'm not wearing high heels.)

(Yes, some of us had McDonald's for lunch.)

I spent the day yesterday at my church cutting out squares of various sizes.  Our women's ministry is participating in an effort to provide girls in Haiti (and Africa) with reusable feminine hygiene products.
